Diagnosis
Mesoscutum and scutellum smooth and shiny; female scape enlarged; dorsellum hidden under scutellum, not visible in dorsal view; lower mesepimeron large, convex and metallic. Similar to laevis but without dark cross-bands on frons. Also similar to helvola but female scape wider, 3.3X as long as wide.
Distribution
Colombia, Costa Rica, Venezuela.
Biology
From a leaf blister gall on Minquartia sp. (Olacaceae).
